Organizing your ideas
组织你的想法
An article is often made up of three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion. However, we can organize our ideas in different ways according to the type of writing.
一篇文章经常由三部分组成：引言、主体和结论。然而，我们可以根据写作类型用不同的方式组织我们的想法。
A Time order
时间顺序
We use this method when we write about an experience or an event.
当我们写有关经历或事件时，用这个方法。
Topic:A trip to Narljing
话题：南京旅游
First，… 首先，……
Next，… 接下来，……
Then，… 然后，……
Finally，… 最后，……
B Space order
空间顺序
We use this method when we describe a place or an object.
当我们描述一个地方或物品时用这个方法。
Topic:My bedroom 话题：我的卧室
The door... 门…．
My bed.… 我的床……
The computer on my desk… 我桌上的电脑……
The window… 窗子……
C General to specific 总分式
When we use this method,we give a general statement first, and then use specific information to support the main idea．
当我们使用这个方法时，我们先给出一个大体的陈述，然后用详细信息来支持主题思想。
Topic：Travelling 话题：旅游
Travelling is fun. 旅游很有趣。
We see different people and sights.
我们看到不同的人和景点。
We learn about different cultures.
我们了解不同的文化。
Travelling helps our mind relax.

Travelling helps us keep fit.
旅游有助于我们保持健康。
D Specific to general 分总式
We use this method when we want to use some specific examples to lead to our main ideas.
当我们想用一些详细事例导入主题思想时，用这个方法。
Topic: Environment 话题：环境
The sky is not as blue as before.
天空不如以前蓝。
The water is not clean any more.
水不再干净。
The weather changes often.
天气经常变化。
We have more bad weather.
我们有更多的坏天气。
Our environment ls getting worse.
我们的坏境正变得更恶劣。
We need to take action to protect it．
我们需要采取行动来保护它。
Mr Wu gives the students some topics and asks them to choose a suitable way to organize their ideas. Help them choose the best way for each topic. Write A,B,C or D in the box.
